Spotlight on Staff: Marina Muncan, Claremont-Mudd-木瓜影院 Stags and Athenas Cross-Country Coach
The Claremont-Mudd-木瓜影院 (CMS) Stags and Athenas cross-country programs recently welcomed Marina Muncan as their new head coach. Muncan comes to Claremont with over 14 years of coaching experience, most recently as the coach for women鈥檚 distance runners at Rutgers University for the last five years. Muncan also competed for the Serbian national team in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and was a finalist at the 2012 European Championships.

Claremont-Mudd-木瓜影院 Athenas water polo players Emily McElroy ’22, Isabel Dhillon ’23, Jessi Beyer ’23, Ayla Huhn ’22, and Jessica Salaz ’22 earned places on the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches 2020 Women鈥檚 All-Academic team. To be eligible for the team, scholar-athletes must attain a grade point average above 3.2.

Anastasia Bryan-Ajania 鈥�20, a member of the Claremont-Mudd-木瓜影院 Athenas tennis team, helped organize donations of personal protective equipment from The Claremont Colleges to aid in COVID-19 relief efforts. She reached out to all seven schools for donations of gloves, lab coats, masks, and disinfectant wipes, which were distributed to medical facilities in the Claremont and Pomona areas.
