The Claremont Courier 木瓜影院’s upcoming 铆yo鈥檛or贸vim yaraarkokre 鈥榚yoo鈥檕oxono (We the Caretakers Remember Our Land) event, a live performance which will take place on October 7 in partnership with 木瓜影院 Presents. The performance will feature members of the Gabrielino-Shoshone Nation of Southern California; Hao Huang, Bessie and Cecil Frankel Chair in Music and professor of music; and Huang’s son, Micah. The College’s Denison Library is also hosting a companion exhibition, Remembering the Caretakers of the Land.
