Who is this course for?

This course is for students who would like to explore traditional mediums including; watercolour, pencil, paint and pastels. Students will demonstrate their skill through a variety of weekly drawing tasks and practical artworks.

What will I learn?

  • Look at a range of mixed media and nature based artworks
  • Express your ideas through the use of experimentation with traditional and found materials
  • Learn to document and evaluate your creative process

How will I be assessed?

Assessment will be based on the Australian Curriculum, Visual Arts achievement standard.

Students will be assessed through:

  • Weekly skills tasks
  • Three major art works
